Terms and Conditions of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa

Section 1: Acceptance

By entering or participating in any aspect of the casino, hotel, dining, entertainment, or other facilities provided by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa (the "Venue"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You further confirm that you meet all applicable age requirements and identification standards.

Section 2: Eligibility

The Venue is open to eligible guests from Canada and abroad who travel to the property, provided they meet age and identification requirements. Individuals under 19 years of age are not permitted entry. Guests may be required to provide valid government-issued photo ID or other documentation as proof of eligibility.

Section 3: Entry Restrictions

Individuals self-excluded from the Venue's gaming activities at any time, guests under the influence of intoxicating substances, and those in breach of Venue rules or regulations are restricted entry. The Venue reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual who does not meet these conditions or fails identification checks.

Section 4: Participation

Guests acknowledge that participation in all activities at the Venue is voluntary and subject to the discretion of venue staff. Guests must comply with instructions from personnel, respect property rights, and refrain from disrupting other guests' experiences.

Section 5: Financial Transactions

All financial transactions conducted within the Venue are governed by applicable laws and regulations regarding currency exchange, deposit limits, withdrawals, and wagering rules. The Venue may vary these conditions at any time without notice to you.

Section 6: Gaming Activities

Gaming activities offered by the Venue include slots, table games, horse racing (as available), dining packages, hotel stays, shows at Hard Rock Live, and other promotions that reward both gaming and non-gaming spend. The Venue reserves the right to change or replace game offerings at any time.

Section 7: Security

The Venue maintains surveillance systems across its gaming areas, entrances, parking lots (as applicable), and other locations to protect assets from theft, property damage, and personal harm. Access to sensitive equipment is restricted by authorized personnel only. Guests must report all incidents or security concerns promptly to venue staff.

Section 8: Photography/Videography

The Venue may capture photos, videos, and audio recordings of its guests for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation. Guests grant the right to use any recorded material as per applicable privacy laws and regulations.

Section 9: Responsible Gaming/Problem Gambling

You acknowledge that responsible gaming practices are in place at the Venue. If you feel unable to manage your playing habits, you can contact venue staff for help with setting deposit limits or self-exclusion procedures through OLG (Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation).

Section 10: Compliance with Law

The Venue operates under a license granted by AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) and complies strictly with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards regarding gaming, liquor service, food safety, health care services, accessibility guidelines, intellectual property rights, financial reporting requirements, advertising restrictions, tax laws, employment policies, information security standards, data protection rules, casino integrity requirements, online gambling regulation (if implemented), hospitality management practices, employee training, labor disputes resolution procedures.

Section 11: Warranties and Liability

The Venue disclaims all warranties, express or implied. The Venue shall not be liable for any losses, damages, death, personal injury, theft, property damage, unauthorized modifications of products/services provided by the Venue.

Section 12: Limitations on Damages/Cause/Action

You release the Venue from liability for consequential, punitive, indirect or special damages in connection with these Terms and Conditions. Any disputes arising out of this agreement must be resolved according to the laws applicable to Ontario courts.

Section 13: Severability

If any provision hereof is determined by a court or tribunal as being void, invalid, illegal, unenforceable or otherwise ineffective, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions hereof. The parties will negotiate in good faith to replace the affected provision with an equally effective one.

Section 14: Amendments

The Venue reserves its right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice as per applicable regulations. It is your obligation to review regularly updates posted by venue staff, available on-site, online, through promotions or direct mailings.

By entering the Venue and participating in any aspect of it, you have agreed that Ontario law shall govern all matters related to your use of services offered here, including disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions. The courts having jurisdiction over such claims within the Province of Ontario will settle all conflicts by litigation brought under applicable laws and regulations.

Please note this agreement is made in accordance with terms required for gambling establishments operating on Canadian territory.

I understand that I am subject to, have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. If there are any discrepancies or omissions between the rules found herein and those contained in hard copy materials available at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa or provided through OLG customer service representatives during an event or occurrence (which take precedence over the current version), please refer such questions to management for prompt clarification.
